The Music House label is a chameleon, constantly adapting and evolving to bridge the gap between library and commercial music. They needed some visual standout on their new releases to cut through the ocean of album covers within the EMI Production library’s vast music catalogue.

What we did instead:
We took inspiration from 50s and 60s minimalism, exploring how muted colour and abstract shape can visually represent instrumentation and sound of music genres. By combining a distinctive diagonal feature alongside a simple typeface we created an engaging and unusual flavour to the collection as a whole.
